Mount Sinai Medical Center offers the Beneflex
Health and Welfare Program to our Faculty and
Staff. This program gives employees the flexibility
to choose the benefits and coverage levels that
are right for their personal lifestyles and family
situations. Mount Sinai recognizes that as life
changes, so do the benefits you need.
Mount Sinai subsidizes the cost of medical/prescription
drug coverage, dental coverage, short-term and
long-term disability insurance and life insurance
for our non-union employees. Your share of the
cost is paid for with before tax dollars unless
otherwise noted. Our Union employees receive
all benefits according to their collective bargaining
unit agreement.
To be eligible for the Beneflex program, Faculty
and Staff must be scheduled to work at least
60% of a normal work week.
