Guelph General Hospital is
a dynamic 200-bed acute care hospital with over 1,100
dedicated staff members. The hospital is a completely
renovated and remodeled facility using state of the
art technology and equipment to provide a full range
of services to the residents of Guelph and Wellington
County. Current services include emergency services,
critical care, ambulatory care, general medicine,
surgery, paediatrics, family birthing, and diagnostic
and laboratory services. In addition, the hospital
offers a wide range of outpatient services including
a paediatric mental health clinic, patient education
programs, chemotherapy clinics and a diabetes education
centre.
Guelph General Hospital was recognized
as one of four high performing hospitals, in the
2005 Hospital Report in the Province of Ontario.
In addition, the Canadian Council on Health Services
identified our hospital as having two leading innovative
practices during our most recent Accreditation.
