In 1907,
Long Beach Memorial opened its doors
as the community's first hospital. Today, LBMMC is
one of the country's most respected hospitals with
specialized centers such as the Todd Cancer Institute,
Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute, Memorial Rehabilitation,
and Memorial Emergency Trauma Center. Physicians and
hospitals continually refer their most difficult cases
here, and health professionals come from around the
world to learn advanced techniques. Long Beach Memorial
has also earned Mercury Awards for Best Los Angeles
Hospital, Best Cancer and Best Orthopedic Programs.
These accolades are a result of an absolute commitment
and dedication to providing the highest quality health
care to our patients.
For more than 30 years, Miller
