Founded in 1892, Deaconess is 365-bed, acute-care,
teaching hospital serving residents of southern Indiana,
southeastern Illinois and western Kentucky. One of
the largest hospitals in this region, Deaconess offers

Deaconess Gateway Hospital,

is an extension of the main hospital downtown and offers

The Women’s Hospital, a 102-bed facility
dedicated solely to serving the medical needs of women
and infants. The Women’s Hospital offers a broad
spectrum of health care services, including a Level

Cross Pointe, a 60-bed hospital offering comprehensive
behavioral health services to meet the needs of children,
teens, adults, seniors and their families. Both inpatient
and outpatient services are provided. •
HealthSouth
Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital, which specializes
in comprehensive medical rehabilitation, including
physical, occupational, recreational and speech therapy
services for patients recovering from injury or illness.
