Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC)

KRMC is considered a non-profit corporation by the IRS and the Arizona Department of Revenue. This is because a group of local leaders came together to formulate a non-profit corporate entity that would assure local hospital control. There are NO investors who take funds or other resources for their private benefit. All excess funds are kept for the benefit and development of the community’s health services as determined by our local board.

Outdoor enthusiasts feel right at home in this high desert community enjoying a mild, year round climate and abundance of clear blue skies (300+ days of sunshine annually). Residents and guests enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, boating, golfing and rock climbing.

The population of Kingman (35,000 + in 2000) is growing steadily, with families and retirees discovering its many attributes. Kingman feels like a small town, with friendly, down-to-earth people, wide open spaces, and minimal traffic, but enjoys the attributes of a larger city as well with access to a variety of activities, restaurants and shopping centers. And if you’re interested in spending time in a big city, you can take an easy commute to Las Vegas or Phoenix or a half day’s drive to Los Angeles or San Diego.

Kingman is one of the stops on world famous Route 66. Classic car enthusiasts will find many opportunities to enjoy car-related events in Kingman and surrounding areas. Kingman is nestled in the midst of other remarkable landmarks including Grand Canyon, Painted Desert, Sedona, Hoover Dam, and Meteor Crater.
