For more than 130 years, the leaders, physicians and staff of St. Anthony's Medical Center have carried out Christ's healing ministry with the delivery of health care services to area residents. Today St. Anthony's is the third-largest medical center in the St. Louis metropolitan area and also serves families in Jefferson County, Mo., and St. Clair and Monroe counties in Illinois. In addition, St. Anthony’s operates three urgent care facilities – located in Arnold, Fenton and Lemay. St. Anthony's is a well-respected tertiary care facility, offering advanced medical treatment in a number of specialties, including cardiology, women’s services, oncology/cancer care, orthopedics, neurology and emergency medicine. St. Anthony’s is staffed by more than 4,000 employees, and served by more than 800 physicians, dentists and other medical professionals in private practice. The medical staff provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical, diagnostic, emergency and behavioral health services to more than 225,000 patients each year. At St. Anthony’s Medical Center, our mission, vision and values are vital statements that guide the conduct and decisions made by our leaders, physicians and employees. The mission describes what we do and have done for decades, and our vision expresses what we will be – for the patients we serve today and in the future. Our Mission: St. Anthony's, a Catholic medical center, has the duty and the privilege to provide the best care to every patient, every day. Our Vision: St. Anthony’s vision is to become the premier health care organization in the St. Louis region. We want to be the first choice for quality health care services among patients and families in the communities we serve. Our Values: The
patient comes first in all we do.
