DeKalb Medical’s facilities are all east
of the city of Atlanta, yet our Care Partners
live throughout the metro Atlanta area where
the cost of living is lower than most large metropolitan
areas. We enjoy incredible weather, with
four distinct seasons – the summer and
winter months are relatively short, giving way
to long, gentle springs and autumns. And, the
annual rainfall is only about 48 inches.
Metro Atlanta has 26 public school systems and
