Krannert Center Thanksgiving Week Hours In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Krannert Center's Ticket Office and Intermezzo will be closed Thursday, November 27, through Sunday, November 30. Additionally, the Promenade Gift Shop will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Sunday, November 30, but open Friday and Saturday, November 28 and 29, for all those ready to get started on their holiday shopping! Krannert Center will resume normal hours of operation beginning Monday, December 1. Happy Thanksgiving!  More>>
Upcoming Krannert Artist Receives Heinz Award The Heinz Award, which is among the largest individual achievement prizes in the world, was given to Ann Hamilton, who will present her visual elements in Meredith Monk’s Songs of Ascension at Krannert Center in April 2009. This award in the arts and humanities category recognizes Hamilton’s trailblazing work in contemporary art, particularly her ability to meld different media and art forms in an effort to blur the conscious divisions of the world and create new boundaries.
