2008 Video Contest 
The APDT is currently looking for videos of our members training pet dogs
in the following categories:
-
Teaching a dog to sit
-
Teaching a dog a fun trick using either lure/reward or click/treat
-
Teaching a dog to heel or loose leash walking
-
Teaching a dog to “leave it” with food (leaving the food alone)
-
Using a toy to train a dog (to do a sit, down ,trick, LL W/Heel or Come
The top three videos in each category will be chosen and rotated on the APDT web site and on YouTube for one month. Each month, we will accept new video uploads, have new categories and choose three new winners. For information on uploading and general guidelines visit the APDT Video Contest Web Page.

Call for Speaker Proposals
You are invited to submit a presentation proposal for the APDT’s 2009 Annual Conference. The 2009 Conference and Trade Show will be held October 21 – 25, 2009, at the Marriott City Center, Oakland/San Francisco, California.

Board Election: 2009 Board of Directors
The APDT is seeking candidates to fill three seats on the APDT Board of Directors.
The elected persons will hold office from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2011.
