The idea of a Hall of Fame to honor individuals and American Quarter Horses instrumental in the development of the breed and AQHA was first formulated in 1975. The initial concept eventually grew to include a broader outlook and developed into the Heritage Center.
The Foundation is proud to announce the Heritage Center is now the all-new American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum. The Hall of Fame & Museum, including Quarter Horse Outfitters, just completed a major renovation. Visitors to the updated facility will experience state-of-the-art technology, beautiful artifacts and touching histories of America's favorite horse breed and the people who made it what it is today.
