October 9. Music with Chickenhead Blues Trio
[Thursday 7:00 - 8:00 PM]
Singer-songwriter and guitarist Rick Tobey plays his original award-winning brand of blues that won the 2007 Cape Fear Blues Challenge. Joining him will be Perry Smith, mandolin and percussion, and Dave Hervey on bass. Part of the Music in the Courtyard Series, held outside weather permitting.
Program admission: $5.00

A panel of religious leaders and missionaries including Rabbi Karz-Wagman, Temple of Israel, Rev. Highfill, Winter Park Presbyterian, Rev. Johnson, St. Luke AME, and Wendy Merritt Larrabee, Port City Community Church discuss faith in times of genocide and major social upheaval including the Holocaust, Congo and Darfur. Moderated by Amanda Greene, "Star News" Faith and Family columnist.
Program admission is by donation

Karola Luttringhaus, Artistic and Executive Director, Alban Elved Dance Company performs a new site-specific work in the Brown Wing inspired by the exhibition "Art and Social Conscience: HOLOCAUST".
