Republican party struggling in Stark County
Come January, Democrats will control 14 of the 20 elected officials in Stark County government. All six Republicans are judges, meaning the GOP — perhaps for the first time in county history — does not hold a single legislative or executive position in elected county government. Full Story
Bosley: Overhaul Stark taxes to pay for countywide 911
Stark County Commissioner Todd Bosley says a sales tax hike would allow the county to eliminate its 911 levy, provide free services to all cities and townships and even help the county's bottom line in the process. He will discuss his plan at today's commissioners meeting. Full Story
