Beautification Projects Completion Ceremony

On October 21, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., the City of Pensacola will hold a ceremony marking the completion the street tree planting project along Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and improvements to the Hollice T. Williams Park. A brief ceremony will be held at the gazebo in the park (under the I-110 highway).

Friday Family Flicks October 10th

Friday Family Flicks……a series of free outdoor family-friendly movies held at Commendencia Slip Pier. Friday, October the 10th, the Community Redevelopment Agency will host a movie on a 3-story inflatable screen. Come out with friends and family, bring chairs, lay out a blanket, share a picnic, sit back and listen to music playing in the background as the sun sets over the park. Then enjoy an outstanding show under the stars as the smell of freshly popped popcorn wafts through the air. The activities begin at 7:00 p.m. with the movie starting at dusk (approx. 7:30 p.m.).
