Property taxes on Dakota County real estate for the second half of 2008 are due Wednesday, Oct. 15. Payments mailed to Dakota County must be postmarked by midnight Oct.15.

While Minnesotans are buckling up more than ever, unbelted motorists still account for half of all traffic deaths. To prevent unbelted traffic deaths, the Dakota County will conduct more than 250 hours of enforcement efforts targeting motorists who are not wearing their seatbelts. The enforcement sweep runs from Oct. 10-19 and is part of the state’s Safe & Sober “Click It or Ticket” campaign.
