In order to obtain accurate damage information to apply for Federal Disaster Assistance, we ask that all residents within Rock Island County who sustained damage from the severe wind storm on July 21st, rendering your residence uninhabitable and did not have property insurance call our Zoning Department.
We must supply to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) details as to the property address, amount of damage sustained and length of time home owner was unable to stay at the residence. Officials will also need a contact phone number and best time to call.

Rock Island County is declared as a State Disaster Area. Therefore, the Rock Island County Assessment Office is accepting applications for reassessment of a disaster area. If your home was substantially damaged due to the recent floods, click here to download a Disaster Application.
