network! To reach anyone at the Board’s
Park Street offices you must now call
519-255-3200.
You will then be prompted
to dial a 5 digit extension number for the person
you are trying to reach. This number is simply the
last 3 numbers of that person’s old direct
line, preceded by 1 and 0.

Teachers' Day
The Greater Essex County
District School Board joins the Canadian Teachers Federation
and organizations from more than 100 countries around
the world in the celebration of World Teachers’ Day,
Sunday October 5th.
The theme for this year’s celebrationis, Teachers
Change Your Life .
“We certainly echo the sentiment of the theme for World Teachers’ Day,” says Interim Director
of Education Heather Liffiton. “Every day throughout our Board, teachers are having a substantial impact on
the lives of their students.”
This year’s World Teachers’ Day is also special for the Greater Essex County District School
Board, because A.V. Graham Public School teacher Neli Brady designed the poster being used to promote the celebration
in Canada.
