Imagine… practicing a few kilometers away from the beautiful Wakaw Lake Resort and Regional Park.
From the beautiful and scenic 9 hole challenging golf course to the beach area on the shore of Wakaw Lake, the Regional Park in the Wakaw-Cudworth Area has something for everyone. Boating, Fishing (perch, walleye and northern pike), mini golf, swimming, beach volleyball, paddle boats, canoes, playground and a summer activity program on the sandy beach are just some of the things to keep you busy at the Park. In the winter, an hour’s drive will find you at an 8 run ski resort with a terrain park.
The Wakaw-Cudworth Area of 3000 is comprised of thriving communities and is centrally located in the province with both Saskatoon and Prince Albert less than an hour away. In the summer months, the Area’s population swells with vacationers. The future growth potential of the Area is limitless, especially given a planned canal project to link the town with the lake resort. The Area boasts K-12 school’s, various seasonal and year round recreational activities, a full range of health care services (19 bed hospital, Health Center, 46 bed Long Term Care facility in Wakaw, 29 bed Long Term Care facility with 4 multi-purpose beds in Cudworth, ambulance, therapies, mental health, home care, addictions and public health services). To find out more about the community visit
