Occupational Health seeks a Physician Assistant. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the Physician Assistant is responsible for performing medical examination, diagnosis of common medical conditions, managing stable phases of chronic illness, coordinating health management and assisting the physician in delivering care to patients. The Medical Director supervises the physicians Assistant’s clinical practice. The physicians reports to the Medical Director and the Departmental Director. This position may also function independently performing off-site duties or assisting in other clinic locations. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization.

State of California Certification as a Physicians Assistant from an institution.
Current CPR or BLS, DEA license required
Minimum of five years experience in medical field as a registered nurse or equivalent medical background and at least one years experience as a physicians. One year experience in Occupational health as RN or a Physician Assistant preferred. Preference for individuals in bilingual in English and Spanish , written and verbal preferred.
State of California Certification as a Physician’s Assistant.
Satisfactory completion of a formal Physician’s Assistant Training Program at an accredited institution.
A current certification in basic CPR or BLS.
Minimum of five years experience in Occupational Health preferred, or medical field as a registered nurse or equivalent medical background and at least one-year experience as a Physician’s Assistant.
Knowledge and understanding of customs and beliefs and needs of a consumer group(s) served.
Preference for individuals bilingual in English and Spanish, written and verbal.
DEA License Required
