Our Emergency Department, the only ´base´ ED station within 180 miles, treats over 55,000 patients per year and incorporates such advanced technologies as the med host patient tracking and electronic nurse documentation systems and Space lab cardiac monitoring systems. The ED consists of a 21 bed acute, 9 bed semi-urgent, and 7 bed non-urgent area.
The incumbent is primarily accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the department in order to meet the needs of the organization. The Director will provide leadership and expertise in the management of the department. Accountable for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbents responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC.

BS in Nursing or closely related field
