Borgess Medical Center is seeking experienced Certified Surgical Technologists - First Assistants (CST-FA) to join our team. A full-time first shift position is available.
Borgess Medical Center is a 424 bed research hospital, nationally recognized for cardiac, neurologic and orthopedic care, and also is a Level I Trauma Center. The Surgery Dept. has 19 multi-specialty OR´s, which perform over 14,000 cases per year. Techs are exposed to cutting edge procedures due to the strong research focus.
Job Requirements
- Applicants must be Certified Surgical Technologist of the operating room.
- Must become a Certified First Assistant within two years of becoming a CST-FA.
- Proficient as a first and second scrub for a minimum of four years. Consideration regarding length of training period will be given to technologists who have previous experience.
- BCLS required
