| On June 11, 2008, a tornado struck the Little Sioux Scout Ranch in Monona County causing four deaths and injuring 40 people. Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation Director John Quinn will honor Monona County Sheriff Jeff Pratt with the Director's Medallion Award. The Iowa State Patrol will also present him with the Chief's Commendation Award.
