Washington
County enjoys the benefits of five area golf courses ranging
from the sentimental favorite Municipal Golf Course with nine
holes, to exclusive Fountain Head Country Club, an 18 hole
championship course.
Beaver Creek Country Club
Preferred member of CVB. Beaver Creek golf course is a semi-private
course with 18 holes; par 72 - 6,878 yards. Built in a traditional
layout, this course features plenty of trees with a rolling,
but easily walkable terrain. A challenging course that is
sure to test your skills.
Black Rock Golf Course
Preferred member of CVB. Black Rock is a public course with
18 holes; par 72 - 6,700 yards. In addition to being the county's
newest course, Black Rock is one of the most spectacular public
courses Maryland, attracting golfers from as far away as Baltimore.
Golfers can enjoy scenic views, an outstanding practice facility,
exciting play for all skill levels, and exceptional value.

Greencastle Greens
Golf Club. Greencastle Greens is one of the premier
golf courses in the region today. Greencastle Greens is a
public course with 18 holes; par72 - 6,900 yards. Many of
the holes feature intervening ponds and waterfalls making
this course one of the most challenging in the area. Located
close to Hagerstown.
The Greens
at Hamilton Run. The Greens at Hamilton Run is a public
course with nine holes, par 34 - 2,550 yards. This course
features only one water hazard, one par 5, and three par 3s.
The Greens at Hamilton Run is a short tight course, making
it easy to walk. Located in Hagerstown.
Fountain Head Country Club
The golf course at Fountain Head Country Club is a private
course with 18 holes, par71 - 6,323 yards. Fountain Head takes
golf to a higher level setting the standard for golf in Washington
County. Golfers can enjoy rounds of golf through winding meadows
and peaceful valleys.
Maryland National Golf
Club - Maryland National Golf Club's picturesque 18-hole,
par 71 layout, provides an unforgettable golfing experience.
Designed by the world-renown architect Arthur Hills, Maryland
National takes full advantage of the dramatic terrain changes
and wetlands surrounding the course. From long, rolling fairways
to magnificent holes carved out of natural woodlands and various
water hazards, each hole of this 6,811-yard layout provides
a unique challenge sure to inspire any golfer. Close by to
Hagerstown and Washington County.
Musket Ridge Golf Club
- Musket Ridge golf course is a newer course designed by Joe
Lee. This rolling hillside golf course is an 18-hole public
play course. Musket Ridge's full service golf club includes
a clubhouse, restaurant, and golf shop. Located minutes from
Washington County.
Whitetail Golf Resort - Whitetail Golf Club's course is an
18-hole, par 72 - 6,950 yards. Golfers of many skill levels
will enjoy the manicured mountainous terrain, challenging
every aspect of their game. The layout is unique to the area
due to its beautiful views and frequent changes in elevation.
The course has multiple tees and yardage markers making it
accommodating to all handicap levels. Whitetail offers a variety
of shot-making opportunities. This nearby rolling links style
course was designed by Rick Robbins.
The Woods
Golf Course - The Woods "Mountain View" golf course is a nearby public championship
course with 18 holes, par 72 - 6-500 yards. This exciting
course meanders over a rolling plateau with magnificent panoramic
views. For a quick round, The Woods "Stony Link"
golf course is a mid-length course, having some of the most
beautiful and challenging holes of golf at The Woods.
Yingling's
Golf Center Yingling's golf course is a public course
with 18 holes, par 54. Washington County’s only par
3 course making it ideal for beginning golfers and for those
who want to work on their iron game. Facilities and services
at Yingling's Golf Center also include a driving range, miniature
golf course, golf lessons, and batting cages.
