Mercy Family Center Receives $1.4 Million Grant

Mercy Family Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, has been selected to receive a grant totaling nearly $1.4 million over the next four years to continue providing mental health services to children, adolescents and their families through Project Fleur-de-lis™, is a school-based mental health program for children who have been exposed to traumatic events as a result of natural and man-made disasters.

St. John’s Acquires New Surgical Technology

St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, recently purchased a da Vinci robotic surgery system. The system is a minimally invasive robot-assisted device that provides surgeons with an alternative to traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopic surgery. Patients experience significantly less pain and scarring and have a shorter recovery time.

St. John’s Mercy Medical Group Opens Walk-in Clinic

St. John’s Mercy Medical Group has opened St. John’s Mercy Care Now, a new walk-in clinic specializing in non-emergency medical care in Union, Missouri. It is staffed by a certified nurse practitioner specially trained and experienced in non-emergent medical care. The clinic accepts most insurance plans and patients do not need an appointment to be seen.
