Independent announces big change

Changes, they are a comin' to the Newport Independent.
Regular readers of the Newport Independent - and our website, www.newportindependent.com - will see some subtle, and some not so subtle, changes over the coming weeks.
First and foremost, today, Nov. 14, 2008 will be our final Friday edition of the Newport Independent. For that matter, I guess, Wednesday's edition was also the last for that day of the week.
