Novato rolls over Marin Catholic 21-0 - 7:50 pm





The two best football teams in the Marin County Athletic League met Saturday in a showdown for the league championship at Novato.

Novato, the best team on this particular day, won, 21-0. And yes, the score was indicative how this was not a close contest.

  • 2:39 a.m. Three officers responded because a man was ringing the doorbell and wouldn’t leave a residence in the 10 block of Brassie Court. It turned out the doorbell-ringer was at the wrong house; he was looking for his friend who lived next door.
  • 6:53 a.m. Police took a man in the 800 block of Diablo who was yelling to the psychiatric unit at Marin General Hospital.
