Exhibits and Tours

Take a guided tour of Lowell by trolley or explore the Merrimack on our canal boat tours. Uncover the Industrial Revolution through interactive exhibits at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, and see the operating power looms. Park 30th Anniversary

'The report "Lowell National Historical Park: 30 Years of Preservation and Innovation for Future Generations" offers insights into the Park's past, present, and future.'

'The "Heritage Preservation and Development White Paper" was prepared by Jonathan Lane and Dennis Frenchman as part of Lowell National Historical Park's 30th anniversary activities looking at the past, present and future of the Park.'

'The "Presentation of Lowell's Stories White Paper" was prepared by Peter O'Connell and Gray Fitzsimons as part of Lowell National Historical Park's 30th anniversary activities looking at the past, present and future of the Park.'

Education and Research

Lowell National Historical Park is a great resource for both educators and students. The park offers education programs at the Tsongas Industrial History Center. Students can learn more about the history of Lowell at the Patrick J. Mogan Cultural Center, or explore the park handbook, brochures, and museum collections.
