The Prince Edward Island College of Physiotherapists (PEICP) is the organization that regulates the practice of physiotherapy on P.E.I. The PEICP receives its regulatory authority from the provincial legislation called the "Physiotherapy Act".
The PEICP exists to protect the public by ensuring that Physiotherapists practicing provide competent and ethical service. The college does this by setting standards of care for the delivery of safe, effective and ethical services by Physiotherapists.
To use the title Physiotherapist or Physical Therapist, or to provide Physiotherapy services, you must be registered with the Prince Edward Island College of Physiotherapists.

The College Council consists of 5 elected representatives plus the Registrar. We meets 4-5 times
a year. Our Annual general meeting is in November.
