Sinkhole forms on county property in northeast Polk
BARTOW - A small sinkhole developed Thursday and consumed large drilling equipment as a result of a Polk County Utilities Department drilling project at the proposed Edgehill Water Production Facility in the vicinity of Cottonwood Drive and U.S. Highway 27.
