Runner meets her challenge

RAPID CITY — The 26.2-mile ING New York City Marathon has plenty of challenges that await runners. There is the massive start out of Staten Island, climbing the five bridges, the huge cheering crowds, “the Wall” at 20 miles, the last three miles in hilly Central Park and the final sprint to the finish line at Tavern on the Green.
