It’s your turn now to GET OUT THE VOTE!!!

Congratulations to the Red Bank Middle School Team!  With over 290 video submissions to eInstruction’s Interactive Classroom Makeover contest, our video, This Year, has been selected as one of the 15 finalists! With submissions from 40 states, our entry wowed Interwrite Judges. The video reflected collaboration, use of technology in the classroom and creativity.  Well done!

The general public is encouraged to go to www.eimakeover.com to vote for their favorite video in each category (K-5, 6-8, 9-12). Voting must be completed by 11/14/2008 at 11:59 AM

The voting phase of the contest provides you an opportunity to get the vote out in your community.  You may want to consider sending out emails to parents, friends, and the community

The online votes will count towards 30% of our final score with the panel of judges accounting for the other 70%.  They will be making their evaluations based on demonstrated use of technology in the classroom, collaboration and creativity the same criteria that made you a finalist.

The video with the highest overall score in each category will win the Grand Prize of an interactive classroom technology makeover valued at USD $25,000, which includes the next generation Interwrite® Pad and Interwrite® Board, along with a 32-pack of CPS RF clickers, a party for the entire school, valuable prize packages from our sponsors, and USD $1,000 cash towards technology in the classroom.  

Twelve finalists will also be among the first people to receive the next generation Interwrite Pad, including Workspace ExamView Edition as well as ExamView Learning Series with over 12,000 questions that are state aligned a value of over $1,500.
