Information on Heating in Schools Richmond County Board of Education Transportation Council will hold its Monthly Meeting on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Board Conference Room on the First Floor of our Central Offices on Broad Street.  The Richmond County Citizen Oversight Committee for Pay-As-You-Go Projects will meet on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.  The Executive Board will meet at 3:30 PM and the Monthly Committee Meeting will start at 4:00 PM.  These meetings will be held in the Board Conference Room on the first floor of our Broad Street Offices. Superintendent's Message Accepting the Challenge to Change to Build Something Better     Dear Richmond County Staff, Students, Parents, and Community,   Providing high quality, effective instruction for all students in Richmond County Schools will continue to be a major system priority and focus across our district. This priority is reflective of the mission of the Richmond County School System which is to educate all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens. Clearly stated, our vision is to have a system full of learners who will lead in tomorrow's society.   Our commitment to providing a high quality and effective school system is becoming evident through our new initiatives being implemented.
