ANA asked nurses to participate in a Safe Staffing Poll on its SafeStaffingSavesLives.org website. The results below are based from the 13,515 responses received from nurses between March 31 and October 23, 2008. These results clearly highlight the need for adequate nursing staffing and its importance in the deliver of quality patient care.
