The Salem Main Street Program is headquartered at the Old Snyder's News Agency located at 152 West Broadway, in Salem City, New Jersey.

Click to see More... The mission of Salem Main Street is to stimulate business opportunity, historic preservation, and community growth. We are a group of 50 volunteer committee members joined by hundreds of others throughout the year working in partnership to improve downtown Salem through design, promotion, organization and economic restructuring. Since its inception in 1999, Salem Main Street has cut the downtown property vacancy rate in half while doubling their value. The Salem Main Street program has also resulted in 75 new jobs, 40 new and expanded businesses, with more than 35 rehabilitation and façade improvements. The program brought $2.5 million in private investment into the heart of Salem City, with more than 30,000 volunteer hours.
