The contracting economy impacts all Utah families, businesses and governments. We’ve all had to go through the grueling, gut-wrenching process of cutting expenses, working harder for less and resetting expectations for the year ahead. For all of these reasons, the Salt Lake Chamber, which represents 4,200 businesses statewide and over 350,000 jobs in the Utah economy, congratulates our state’s chief executive officer for proposing a responsible, prudent, well-balanced and business-minded state budget.
