Solar Schoolhouse The San Jose Holiday Parade is the premiere Bay Area event of the holiday season! Join us in Downtown San José on Sunday, December 7 beginning at 8:30 a.m., or watch it televised live on NBC Bay Area beginning at 9:00 a.m. Come reminisce in this “Timeless Holiday” experience featuring Princess Aurora from the Disneyland® Resort as the 2008 Grand Marshal. Watch an exciting stop-performance act by canine pal Raggs from the hit PBS children’s television show Raggs, a special live performance from up-and-coming teen pop/rock sensation Brianna James, and much more. On November 20, 2008, the City Manager released the “General Fund Structural Deficit Elimination Plan.”   

The General Fund Structural Deficit Elimination Plan (Plan) contains strategies for the City Council to consider to close an estimated $106 million deficit in the General Fund over the next five years.  This Plan will be presented to the City Council at a Study Session on Friday, December 5.
