REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
The Board of Pharmacy is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers to provide a database for the collection of Controlled Substance prescription dispensing records and to provide related program support and activities to the Board. Related program support and activities include, but are not limited to, coordinating the transmission of prescription dispensing records by pharmacies to the Iowa Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) and establishing a secure web-based access portal. The PMP will collect prescription records and make that information available to qualified health practitioners via secure web-based access portal. System functionality shall include formatted queries and reports, ad hoc query and report capabilities, and statistical and audit tracking.
