Next Thursday, October 16th, is the deadline for property owners to file an appeal to St. Tammany Parish Assessor Patricia Core regarding the 2008 assessment.  The Assessor has chosen to value property based on its value in the latter half of 2007.  My office is receiving a number of calls from citizens about this matter.  To  check your assessment, click this link:  www.stassessor.org/assessor.php  ...    -  Continue
