Staff Multi-Year Assignment Proposal Now Online

December 16, 2008 - Public input has resulted in changes to the multi-year student assignment proposal presented today to the Board of Education by WCPSS Growth and Planning to fill 10 new schools with 25,486 students over the next three years. The full plan is now online.

This is a staff proposal to the Wake County Board of Education. The school board will discuss the plan, consider changes, and adopt a plan following the public comment period. To provide input to the school board, you can comment online or attend one of the following public hearings:

  • Jan. 8 at Southeast Raleigh High
  • Jan. 12 at Millbrook High
  • Jan. 14 at Fuquay-Varina High
  • Jan. 15 at East Wake High
