Job Summary: In accordance with the vision, mission, objectives and policies of the Mineral Springs Hospital and the Department of Nursing, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the support and delivery of holistic patient care and education throughout the hospital stay. Qualifications: • Post basic Perioperative Course and 3-5 years of current O.R. experience desired. • Certification in Perioperative Nursing (Canada) an asset. • Demonstrated high level of knowledge and skills in an Operating Room. • Evidence of effective organization, problem solving, and collaboration skills essential. • Works well in an interdisciplinary team environment, and takes initiative to improve patient care. • Ability to assume charge/teaching role an asset. • Functions independently. • Current registration with CARNA required. • An excellent attendance record, reliability, professional attitude and personal suitability must be demonstrated throughout your employment record and references.
