PT Registered Practical Nurses required.
Position supervises the nursing care given by Personal Support Workers in accordance with the Resident Care Plans. Provides direct resident care in accordance with current approved standards of care, policies and procedures. Assesses the needs of individual residents and organizes for the provision of resident care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Skills and leadeship abilities in supervising other nursing personnel a must. Experience in long term care preferred. Requirements: • A Registered Practical
Nurse possessing a license from the applicable
Provincial authority and a Medication Administration
Certificate.
• Experience in a long
term care setting. Maturity and good physical and
mental health, empathy, patience and tact are important
qualities to possess.
• Skills and leadership
abilities in supervising other nursing personnel
is a must. Must be able to communicate in English
including written documentation.
• Proficiency in a second
