Description: The Quality & Safety Professional Resource is a corporate resource providing data analysis, consultation, education and facilitation support to ensure active and effective management of patient safety, quality and risk.
They take a lead role in key corporate quality and risk assessment activities such as CCHSA Accreditation and the monitoring, analysis and follow-up of key quality indicators.

This position will be a Southlake employee, but will provide service to both Southlake and Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston.

Qualifications:
-Baccalaureate degree, preference to applicants with additional certification or a combination of courses and experience in quality improvement tools and methods
-A clinical background in acute care is considered an asset
-High level of competency in statistical analysis
-2-3 years experience with quality improvement tools and methods including application of the improvement model, root cause analysis and other standardized tools in a healthcare environment
-Experience in decision support or data analysis in a health care environment
-Experience with database management and system administration
-Demonstrated project management skills
-Knowledge of adult education principles
-Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
-Analysis / problem assessment
-Innovative and willing to learn
-Commitment to customer service and teamwork
-Demonstrates individual leadership skills
-Valid Drivers License and personal transportation

Shifts: Days, Monday to Friday, Multi site responsibility - Southlake and Stevenson Memorial, Alliston
