Command Center Operator The Command Center
Operator is responsible for Security Department Command
Center operation.
Job responsibilities include answering
telephones, dispatching calls, documenting service
calls, monitoring alarm systems, monitoring CCTV cameras,
maintenance of CCTV camera recording devices and dispatching
medical center wide emergency broadcasts as well as
other job responsibilities as needed and/or required.
Educational Requirements: High School graduate,
General Education Diploma or comparable level of
education and work experience is required. Prefer
applicant to have an Associate Arts Degree. In addition,
applicant must be able to accurately type 40+ WPM,
be PC literate and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,
Exchange or comparable software; excellent customer
service skills to always interact favorably with
the public and CSMC personnel, even under adverse
and stressful conditions. Applicant must be able
to remain calm and collected in emergency situations
and must be able to clearly communicate in English,
verbally and in writing.
License/Certification/Registration
Requirements: Valid and current driver's license
issued from the State of California and prefer a
valid and current Guard Card issued from the State
of California. If not, a Guard Card issued from the
State of California must be obtained within 90 days
from date of hire.
