Educational/ Experience Requirements

BA or BS in biological sciences or related field. At least 2 years of lab experience in molecular biology or neuroscience. Basic laboratory skills including immuno chemistry, western blot analysis, northern blot analysis, sub-coning, PCR, cell culturing, and animal handling. Basic understating of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Position requires working with microscopes and computers for extended periods of time and the use of specialized laboratory equipment. Must be able to sit, stand and/or stoop for long periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
