Currently seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to be responsible for the clinical management of the infants in the NICU in conjunction with the Neonatologist. Will interface with nursing personnel by developing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the interdisciplinary team. Accountable to the Neonatologist for clinical management of NICU patients and to the Administrative Director for interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies, standards and guidelines. Education/Learning Experience - Required: Masters of Science in Nursing granted by an accredited college or university, and qualified for cert. as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber as defined in Chapter N 8.03 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code. - Desired: MA or MS with focus in Neonatal Nursing, certified from a NNP program. Work Experience: - Required: Minimum of 2 years experience in an NICU. - Desired: Previous NNP experience for 2 or more years. Skills/Knowledge: - Required: Attentive communication, computer skills, team building, decision making and problem solving, advocacy, delegation, self aware, flexibility, adaptability, conflict management, independent practice, organization and time management skills, clinical and ethical judgment, foresight, change process. - Desired: Systems and strategic thinking, vision, knowledge of the business of health care. Licenses/Certifications Required: Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in state of WI as defined in Chapter N 8.02 of the WI Administrative Code; current cert. from a national certification body approved by the Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
