Salary Range: $29.33 to $38.50 per hour as per the UNA Collective Agreement

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Registered Nurse provides care to patients, utilizing the nursing process as a guide, by acting as an advocate, coordinator and liaison for the patient; identifying needs and setting priorities in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care; maintaining a high degree of professionalism and promotes learning for self and others.

Note:
Unless otherwise stated above, all float pool positions will be required to float to all medical, surgical, and high intensity areas, and may be required to float to more than one unit during their shift.

Qualifications:
-Graduate of a recognized Nursing program required.
-Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (C.A.R.N.A) required.
-Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS (Level C) - Health Care Provider required.
-Medical experience preferred.
