Salary Range:
$29.33 to $38.50 per hour as per the UNA Collective Agreement

Responsibilities:
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse acts as an advocate and coordinator for the patient to provide holistic family centered care; and bears primary responsibility and accountability for the nursing care patients receive. May be required to carry out charge nurse responsibilities, teaching, research and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:
-Graduate of an approved School of Nursing required.
-Active registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) required.
-Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS (Level C) - Health Care Provider required.
-IV certification required.
-One (1) to two (2) years recent experience in an acute care facility preferred.
-Two (2) years experience in orthopedics required.
-Must be familiar with PCA and Epidural Infusions & Peripheral Nerve Blocks.
-Must be able to assume charge nurse role on shift and weekends.
