Shift: 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
Hours: 36 hours weekly/72 per pay period/Flex -Rotate

Job Details: The Pediatric Patient Care Unit specializes in the delivery of comprehensive medical and surgical care of the pediatric patient from newborn through the teenage years. The total number of beds available are 40 (29 beds on Pediatric Patient Care Unit and Special Care Unit) and 11 beds in the PICU. Provides professional family centered nursing care within the Pediatric Unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Is a role model of professional nursing practice; participates in routine orientation and training of new personnel and students to unit. Three stages of performance exist within this job description: A. Patient/Family Focus, B. Nurse Focus, C. Systems Focus.

Requires: Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Colorado, BLS, PALS (or completion within six months of hire), Basic EKG class within one year of employment. Previous clinical experience in general nursing care required.
