Position/Summary:
Performs duties for individual or all sections of the Laboratory including procurement of specimens, specimen preparation, test analysis and
quality control of test methods according to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Education, Training and Experience:
Graduation from an approved Medical Laboratory Science Program and current certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory
Science (CSMLS). One (1) year recent related experience.
Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to keep abreast of current professional standards and technical knowledge.
* Demonstrated ability to perform duties accurately and maintain quality standards.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to operate related equipment
* Ability to organize work.
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Physical ability to perform duties of the position.
