Our Main OR is comprised of 6 operating rooms, and performs over 5,300 cases a year. These encompass trauma, general, vascular, orthopedic, ENT, urology and thoracic surgeries. Recent Main OR remodeled to included the development of a comprehensive cardio thoracic program.

Women's Surgical Services has 4 operating rooms and performs nearly 2,800 surgeries yearly. GYN, cesarean section support and OB are their specialty.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include advanced laparoscopic procedures, cystoscopy video systems, and stereotactic mammography.

The Administrative Director of Surgical Services leads the strategic planning process for surgical services, which includes the Heart Program, Main OR, Women's Surgical Services, Outpatient Surgery, Pre-Admit, Pre-Op Holding, and SPD/Sterilization. The incumbent will work with others in leadership as well as physicians to identify and evaluate programs and emerging technologies. Directs fiscal management by establishing budget targets for division provides oversight for the process, identifies program or service growth opportunities and methodologies to enhance revenues. Further identifies and implements strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of service. Responsible for assuring a respectful work environment. Directs the management of department human resources and employee relations. Partners with Human Resources to develop long-term plans, anticipating future staffing needs and develops employees to meet those challenges. Sets the tone by communicating values and attitudes that will significantly shape the culture of the group. Ensures compliance with regulations governing hospitals and the rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the organization's service delivery system and initiating changes as required.

Education required: Masters Degree in Nursing. Experience Required: 3 years at the Director level. Education Preferred: Masters Degree in a health-related field. Experience Preferred: 5 years at the Director level.
