Fort Stewart,
Georgia - Family Practice in a state-of-the-art setting,
caring for service members and their families. You'll
enjoy a regular work week and be the Primary Care Manager
for a patient panel of approximately 1,500 patients.
You'll see 3 patients per hour, Inpatient day
call is 1:8, on-call weeknight call is 4 times per
month, and on-call weekend/holiday call is approximately
2 times per month. Any evening hours and all call hours/shifts
receive additional compensation.
You should
be BC or BE (if out of training 3 years or less) and
hold current ACLS and BLS. You'll be practicing at
Winn Army Community Hospital -
http://www.winn.amedd.army.mil/index.html,
a modern healthcare facility with multiple clinics
and medical services.
You'll see a diverse
mix of patients and be able to perform a number of
procedures and do both inpatient and outpatient care.
You'll work as an independent contractor with malpractice
paid by the government and you'll be able to focus
on what you do best - the practice of medicine, while
leaving the business aspects to someone else.
Enjoy
an annual compensation of $156+, plus additional compensation
for call.
